I haven't blogged in what seems like ages! I've just been busy with school and my new job :] So I apologize to all my non-existent subscribers itching to know what I've been up to. ^__^

Jamba Juice
I recently got hired at Jamba Juice for all of those who haven't read my previous posts. I'm still training right now but I'll have my Whirl Pin in no time :] (We get Whirl Pins at our Whirl Ceremonies after completing training) ^__^ I've learned a few of the recipes but I haven't remembered them all perfectly just yet! D: It takes some time. I've met a lot of new people while working and I'm glad they always want to help! I just hope that when I mess up they don't think any less of me >.< The only disappointment to me is that my general manager will be leaving before i even complete training :[ I really liked her too! I was comfortable with her bc she's so cool :[ I'll have to bake her something to show her I'm thankful for all the training she got me through!

School
*sigh* school is alright but i really dislike waking up so early X[ I usually have to go an hour and a half before my class even starts bc my sister either has work or school, both which starts earlier than any of my classes, and her boyfriend, who so kindly gives us a ride, has to be at work early too. if i wanted, i could sleep in and then bus to school but that would cost me $2 a day. And doing that would definitely add up :[ and Muni passes are like $55!!!!~
As far as classes go, I only really like one of them and surprisingly enough, it's math. :O i know, for me that's a big shocker. i usually hate math. but the professor is cool and he really explains things well without using all those confusing terms. it's pretty straightforward and turning homework in online is a lot easier than normal.
Critical thinking isn't fun though. It's quite boring. The things we discuss are really repetitive. I made one friend though, Anthony. Which is sort of funny becuase our professor's name is also Anthony. So when examples are given in class (like Anthony has four legs. Anthony is a human. Therefore humans have four legs) it's pretty funny to look over at Anthony and be like 'lol really?' OH, i recently did someone a huge favor by returning her phone after she left it on her desk. I wouldn't say it wasn't a problem but afterwards i felt good about doing it. :]
English is an alright class too. The professor is cool and my colleagues are pretty interesting people. I only hope that the next assigned reading is a little more easier to grasp than the one we just read (Henrik Ibsen's "An Enemy of the People")
History is just plain boring. I find it hard to take notes and the professor lectures the whole time. Every time iwalk into class, i take a seat by the window in hopes of catching the breeze because its also sooo hot in there. Thank goodness i only have it once a week!
Aerobics, believe it or not, isn't anything i look forward to either. All the people in there are like hardcore Aerobic lovers where as i'm just this girl looking for a light exercise.
And i can't seem to find anything entertaining to do during breaks! T_T Sometimes, I'll meet up with a couple of people but other times they already leave campus.
Well, enough of me complaining about school. Let's move on to another topic, shall we?

I recently visited the Academy of Sciences and realized I'd very much like to be a butterfly ^__^

I GOT THE JOB! :D

Tuesday's my first day!! Ohh, I hope they like me! >.<

This past week's been so full of surprises! :]

Tuesday I actually went to a job interview at Jamba Juice. I think it went well! My first impression wasn't too bad. The person to impress wasn't too harsh either. It was actually just the first interview; if they really want me they'll call back for a second! So I'm REALLY hoping they call back! If not, I'll call tomorrow to followup on my interview! I was surprised with myself about how I didn't stutter or draw blanks^^

Thursday my sister and I went to watch 'The Time Traveler's Wife' and it was GREAT! Although I haven't read the book, I kind of want to now. Rachel McAdams is amazing and Eric Bana is hawwt :] Earlier in the day I also went to check out what books I'd need for school, and the prices are surprisingly low! :]

Friday!
A couple of things happened Friday :]
First, I called the SLSF to followup on whether or not they received my proof of enrollment so they could send me my check and they did! So they said that they sent a batch out earlier this week and I should receive it shortly. I got it THE SAME DAY! :] So now I gots money in the bankk!! ;3
Second, Carolyn called earlier in the week and said she wanted to come and hang out at my place :] So I said of course she's welcome here! She came and I thought she'd be the only one coming but then a few of my other friends including my sister showed up too! :]] They even surprised me with a huge birthday present!!! So huge, I'd never be able to thank them enough! A massive amount of my friends chipped in and being the first birthday I've ever really spent here, I really appreciate it! (even though i was in vegas on the actual day) Thank you all so so so so much! I go around the neighborhood just about everyday ever since i got it and i love it! Thanks again so much!!
